What this policy covers
This policy explains how GridSpan (“GridSpan,” “we,” “us”) collects and uses personal information through gridspan.ai, demo requests and the GridSpan demo workspace.
Information your organization puts into the GridSpan platform under a customer agreement is governed by that agreement, not by this policy.
What we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, work email, company, role, what you are building, and anything you write in a request. If you ask for demo access, the email address we send it to and your activity in the demo workspace.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit gridspan.ai, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs: IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the date and time.
- Cookies. gridspan.ai does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site keeps one setting in your browser for the current session, such as whether you paused the homepage film. The demo workspace uses the cookies it needs to keep you signed in.
How we use it
- To reply to your request and schedule a demo.
- To provide demo access and keep it secure.
- To send information about GridSpan that relates to your request. You can opt out at any time.
- To keep the site and our services secure and working.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that work for us under contract: customer relationship management (HubSpot), website and application hosting, and email delivery. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- When the law requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of GridSpan, our customers or others.
- In a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, where your information would remain subject to this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep request and contact information for as long as we need it to respond to you and to maintain our business relationship, then delete or de-identify it. Demo access ends when the demo period ends, and we delete demo account information within a reasonable time after that.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from marketing email with the link in any message, or by writing to us.
Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Virginia and other states with privacy laws, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of its sale, targeted advertising or profiling. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
To make a request, email privacy@gridspan.ai. We will verify the request and respond within the time the law requires. You may use an authorized agent. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
gridspan.ai is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Where we process information
We process information in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We will post changes here with a new date. If a change is material, we will say so on this page before it takes effect.
