Company
Built by a land team.
GridSpan started inside a land services firm. We built the software we needed, and we run our own client projects on it.
01 Why we built it
Land is the slowest part of development.
Before a project can be engineered, financed or built, someone has to read the record. Who owns the ground. What the title says. What federal land status allows. Where a line can cross.
That work still runs on courthouse books, agency maps and spreadsheets, one parcel at a time. GridSpan’s agents do the reading and the drafting, with the source on every figure. Your team makes the calls.
02 What we believe
Four things we hold to.
01
Every figure has a source.
Publisher and date on every finding, so anyone can check it.
02
A person makes the call.
Agents read and draft. Your team accepts, returns or decides.
03
Your data is yours.
We never sell or package customer data.

04 Where we started
Started inside Impact Land Services.
GridSpan was built inside Impact Land Services, a land services firm working for energy developers. We needed software that could keep up with the record, so we built it. Impact runs its client projects on GridSpan today.
Teams that want hands as well as software can work with Impact, with GridSpan underneath.
